Enjoy Stanley Park Vancouver
Stanley Park Vancouver is one one the largest urban parks in North America. It is a green oasis, and favourite leisure area for Vancouverites, situated within a short distance away from the busy downtown metropolitan area of Vancouver -- one of the largest cities in Canada.
Here is the inscription on the statue of Lord Stanley, near the entrance to the park:
TO THE USE AND ENJOYMENT OF PEOPLES OF ALL COLOURS CREEDS AND CUSTOMS FOR ALL TIME
˜
I NAME THEE
STANLEY PARK
LORD STANLEY, OCTOBER 29, 1899
Vancouver's Seawall
